Athletic Republic training makes athletes faster on the football field. Our football speed-training program focuses on improving speed and fundamental movement skills, developing explosive power to deliver a blow or gain a first step, and conditioning to ensure the athlete performs as well in the fourth quarter as the first.

Athletic Republic Training Centers provide year-round football training for both teams and individual players.  Every program is designed by position so athletes can focus on the specific keys to their game. Ever since founder and exercise physiologist John Frappier first worked with All Pro NFL Football Players Tim Krumrie and Anthony Munoz of the Cincinnati Bengals nearly 25 years ago, our performance sports training centers have been the go-to place for serious football players. More than 500 NFL players including current greats like LaMarr Woodley, Darren McFadden, Corey Graham and Paris Lenon have used our science-based, position-specific sports training protocols and proprietary equipment to improve their speed, power, agility and playmaking skills. 

The structure of an individual’s football-training program starts with the athlete’s physical development. Football training for pre-pubescent athletes focuses on developing coordination, agility and speed since muscle mass develops later in a young athlete’s life. As athletes mature and the level of competition increases, training focuses more on the development of power/strength and running efficiency. Professional players spend the largest portion of time on power/strength development, but still spend time working on movement skills and running efficiency.

AVERAGE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS THROUGH ATHLETIC REPUBLIC FOOTBALL TRAINING: 

SPEED – Average improvement in the 40-yard dash is .2 - .4 seconds. Think what an extra 6-10 feet of separation can do for any position on the football field. 

VERTICAL JUMP – Average improvement of 2 – 4 inches means you make the game winning catch or knock down a crucial pass at the line of scrimmage.  

THROWING VELOCITY - Average improvement for quarterbacks after using the Athletic Republic Throwing Cords is 5 mph.  That can be the difference between D-I and D-III.
